iPad 3: Everything you need to know.

The iPad 3 rumors started, as soon as the iPad 2 was released, and now, here's a summary of everything we know on the iPad 3. In this article, you will find:

iPad 3 Key Features (Most Likely)
iPad 3 Less Likely Features (but still possible)
iPad 3 Release Date
iPad 3 Prices

iPad 3 Key Features

iPad 3, might feature the 5 new features, as described below. These features are the most wanted, and most likely features to be included on the iPad 3.

1. Retina Display

The iPad 3, is believed to have a 2048x1536 with 264 ppi (pixels per inch), twice the amount on the iPad 2. The pixel density won't be as great as on the iPhone 4/4S, but it will still be very high, and pictures, webpages, apps and email will look amazing

Doesn't it bug you when you run an iPhone app of the iPad, and when you make it twice as big, it becomes really pixelated, but with the iPad 3, the quality of iPhone apps may improve significantly.

2. A6 Chip

The iPad 3 will feature the A6 processor, which will have the following specifications:

-1+ GHz (around 1.2 GHz)
-Quad-core system-on-a-chip
-1024 MB RAM]

3. Better Camera + New Features

Since Most tablets have better cameras than the iPad 2, and as we noted in our post "The ultimate tablet face off" (April 2011), that the iPad 2 camera isn't that good. it's true. It's usable, but still, there's room for lots of improvement. We think the iPad 3 may come with a 5 MP camera, like the one in the Blackberry Playbook, Samsung Galaxy Tab, and Apple's iPhone 4.

The iPad 2 shoots pretty nice 720p video. It looks great on YouTube, on the device, on computers, and Smaller devices, like phones. However, for the big screen, Your TV, or the projector in the conference room, stunning 1080p, with video stabilization as seen on the iPhone 4S would be perfect.

We're also expecting improvements in FaceTime. The front of the iPad is supposed to get a FaceTime HD camera, and we think that FaceTime may include multi-way video chat, like Hangouts on Google+

Photo Booth might get an update, and have the background feature (and user background) like on the Mac. There may also be more effects to choose from, and the ability to record video (also like on the Mac).

4. 4G LTE

This was one of the most wanted features on the iPhone 5 (now iPhone 4S). Now that the networks are ready, Apple just might include 4G in their next iPad*

*If they do include 4G, it may not be available in all areas, and may be pricey

5. Dictation

Siri, was one of key features on the iPhone 4S, and there is a slight chance we may see it on the iPad 3. However, it's more fun to set the reminder yourself instead of having the beta software try to understand what you mean. It's still in beta, and it's not close to perfect. What would be really nice if Apple took the dictation feature (microphone icon on keyboard) so you could type with your voice.

A feature that most people want on the iPad 3 is a flash for the camera. We don't think that's going to be a new feature, because Apple points out that a flash is not required:

Well we don't know for sure.

iPad 3 Release Date:

-In the February to April time span
-Most Likely on Steve Jobs's Birthday (according to most sources), in memory of him.
Steve Jobs's Birthday was February 24th

So most likely on February 24th, 2011

iPad 3 Prices:

We think the prices will be the same, however if there is a 4G model it may be more expensive. The Retina Display is pretty expensive, so the iPad 3 may be more expensive (we think more expensive by $0-$300 depending on the model)

Apple working on HD TV, packed with new features.

Apple iScreen concept by Ciccarese Design

Did you know Apple is working on a TV? We all Know Apple's current version of Apple TV but honestly, a box and a HDTV isn't very 'awesome'. However, several sources (like Smarthouse) suggest, claim and confirm Apple is working on a Television. However, this TV is no box hook-up. We've seen those before (like with Google TV) However this TV will be a TV itself, and here is a summary of several sources predictions on the Apple TV details:

FEATURES:

-A6 System-on-a-chip processor* that will be used in the next (3rd) iPad, may also be found in the Apple TV.
*We think that the A6 chip will be quad-core, and will have about 1.4 GHz.

-Siri, Apple's (not-so) intelligent assistant found currently on the iPhone 4S, may be included in future Apple   products, such as the iPad 3 and the new Apple TV

-The App Store for purchasing games and apps to your TV.

-The iTunes Store. Steve Jobs, noted that they want to change the TV industry as they did with music, and games, so Apple might allow customers to purchase TV shows, Videos, Podcasts, and other media without having to leave the living room.

-An internal hard drive. If Apple TV will have the iTunes and App Store, You need some space to store all those things. We think that if there will be an internal hard drive inside the Apple TV, we think the sizes could be as follows: 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, or maybe even  64 GB.

-FaceTime, plus a front-facing camera. The new Apple TV, may bring video calling via a built-in front facing video camera (around 3-5 MP)

-Microphone. for FaceTime, Siri, & Apps.

-Retina/OLED display? We're still not sure but it is possible.

-Overall, an enhanced TV experience.

SIZE:

MacRumors quotes that the TV may come in 3 sizes. Varying between 32-55".

RELEASE DATE:

We think summer (June-July) 2012.

That's what we know for now. Stay tuned for more updates.

That's what we think for now! Stay tuned for more updates

Introducing iPad 2- FaceTime

This is the FaceTime edition. More editions will be posted throughout the month.

Now, it's time for Apple to shine Again-- cause iPad 2 hits Apple retail stores Today at 5:00 p.m.
Critical review and overview of iPad 2's FaceTime:

Features:

It started from iPhone 4. Then passed on to iPod touch. And now it's time for it to be passed on to the 2nd Generation. iPad. And that's just where it starts.

FaceTime is an awesome application, that comes included now with every new iPad 2. Here's just a brief overview:

For faraway friends and family, long-distance relationships, or just for fun, FaceTime for iPad is here. With a tap, you can make video calls from your iPad 2 to someone else’s iPad 2, iPhone 4, new iPod touch, or Mac over Wi-Fi. And be there in person, even when you’re not.

Just like on the iPhone 4 and the new iPod touch, iPad 2 has 2 cameras. FaceTime is mainly used by the front-facing camera, but the rear camera can be used to show what you see.
Showing what you see in iPad 2, via rear camera

You can FaceTime from iPad, to iPhone, iPhone to iPad, iPad, to iPod touch, iPod touch, to iPad, iPad, to Mac, Mac, iPad. Whew! all lot of video chatting options. The camera is not as great is you think (or thought) but its' VGA quality is enough for video calls...

Lots of chat options. FaceTiming iPhone 4 to iPad

The biggest way to say hello.

So long “Long time, no see.” Because whether you’re across the house, across town, across the country, or in a different country altogether, iPad is the next best place to see your favorite face — talking, smiling, and laughing back at you. With a tap, you’ll find yourself in the middle of anything you don’t want to miss. Big things like birthdays, anniversaries, first steps, or holiday dinners. Smaller things like breakfast, homework, dog tricks, or bedtime stories. Just when you start missing someone (or something), drop in, catch up, and hang out as long as you want. Or just show up to say (and see) goodnight.

Tap, talk, smile, and wave.

Let’s say you want to start a video call with your best friend. Just find her name in your Favorites list and tap the FaceTime button. An invitation pops up on her iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, or Mac asking if she wants to join you. When she accepts, the FaceTime call begins. Up pops her face — right in front of yours and nearly life-size — on the big iPad display. All you need is an Apple ID and an email address and you’re good to go. It’s even easier than picking up the phone.*
Apple's quote--
"FaceTime on iPad 2 lets you drop in on your favorite people and see how they’re doing. And what they’re doing. And who they’re with. You could be anywhere, they could be anywhere. With a tap, your iPad 2 calls someone else’s iPad 2, iPhone 4, new iPod touch, or Mac over Wi-Fi.1 And there you are, face-to-face, in the middle of a friend’s party or with your family on the couch. The big, beautiful iPad display is a great place for a face, because you can really see it. Not a smile or laugh goes unnoticed, especially when iPad goes around the room and everyone waves hello. If you’ve ever missed something big and eventful, anything small yet significant, or someone’s smile, FaceTime helps you miss everything a little less."

Who knew such a great feature could change so much? More posts on iPad 2 are coming soon!

iPod touch 3rd Gen vs iPod touch 4th Gen

So, is it worth upgrading?

iPod touch 3rd Gen vs iPod touch 4th Gen
it is commonly herd that Apple has introduced an update to the 3rd generation iPod Touch. With new features such as FaceTime Video Calling, Retina Display, HD video Recording, a 3 axis gyroscope, iOS 4.1 (iOS 4.2.1 is the current version of apple's OS) and so ever. All these features must lead to cons of other leading features that were successful on the previous iPod touches. You've probably herd of the iPod touch 4th, but you haven't REALLY thought about how these features may be "Pathetic" So in this article, You'll see iPod touch Face to Face in the combat of all battles-- is it REALLY worth to upgrade your old iPod touch to this one??? We'll find out.

This Mini- Summerization will help you examine some of iPod touch's main hardware & performance differences...

A couple months ago (In September) Apple announced the next line up of iPods for the coming holiday season and most notable was the next iPod touch. The new iPod touch (4th generation) is better in a lot of things as compared to its predecessor (3rd Generation) like the same Retina display which now shines on the new iPhone 4, A4 chip, HD camera, face time and improved preformance. Also with the introduction of iOS 4.1 the device will have lots of improvements and added features deep inside, the most important of that is the Game Center.

Testing the Goods: iPhone 4, or Apple's Icarus Moment

The iPhone 4 is the best smartphone on the market, but a potentially serious flaw could be indicative of bigger problems. with it's iOS 4.2 it's the one of the most advanced phones yet.
and a revolution in portable technoligy

A long, long time ago, Icarus and his father Daedalus did something pretty incredible: they constructed wings out of wax and feathers and flew. Apple too has achieved remarkable greatness--after proving themselves consistently capable of pushing mobile gadgets further than anyone else, here lands the iPhone 4, the best smartphone ever made. Onwards and upwards, to the sun.
But what's that faint honey smell? And the feathers slowly peeling off, drifting lazily back down to Earth on the wind? There are problems. The wax is starting to melt.
